Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise, an American actor and writer, is most famous for her role as Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island in the 1960s. She began acting as a stage artist during the 1950s starting with Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. Then, in 1956 she made her big break with a performance on Broadway in Li'l Abner's musical. The singer also released her debut music album It's Time for Tina that same year. Louise made her debut in Hollywood as God's Little Acre which was a dramatic that was released in the year 1958. She played Griselda, a character in the film. While in New York, Louise enrolled in Actors Studio and began her friendship to Lee Strasberg. The next role she starred in was through in 1964 when she was signed by CBS to portray Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise had a long and successful career, balancing Broadway TV with Hollywood and portraying an empathetic, as opposed to the glamour doll image she was perceived. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series as well as Helen Magnus, but in the last few years she's gained recognition for herself as a director of well-known TV shows such as Supernatural. Born on the 28th of August, 1965, in Essex. As a young girl, 3, her family moved her to Toronto in Canada where she spent her childhood. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver and Canada, following her decision for the role of lead.
